Finbond Group on the West Coast of Sabah, Malaysia, seeks an experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanic for full-time, on-site work. You will maintain and repair a range of construction equipment, diagnose mechanical issues, and keep detailed maintenance records to ensure uptime and safety.

Collaboration with sales and service teams will provide technical support to customers while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience maintaining and repairing heavy construction machinery.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• To conduct regular maintenance and repair tasks on various types of construction machinery, such as excavators, wheel loaders, dump truck, road machinery, etc.
• Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Perform routine inspections (rental, ad hoc) to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent on each task.
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards to prevent accidents and equipment failures.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to provide technical support and recommendations to customers.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, new equipment models, and maintenance techniques.
