Job summary

Kobelco Construction Machinery Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a workshop and field service technician to perform servicing and repairs on Kobelco machines at both workshop and job sites.

You will complete machine inspection reports, update job cards, and process claims after each job, while keeping a clean, safe workspace and properly managing tools and equipment. Travel to client sites as needed and collaborate with the team to ensure timely, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Secondary School/SPM/Graduate Diploma in Engineering(Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Experience in excavator or construction heavy equipment service and repair preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to speak/write in English.
• Valid driving license and GDL.
• Physically strong with stamina and able to travel to outstations.
• Willing to start immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Kobelco machines at workshop and on job sites.

Requirements

1. Must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/Graduate Diploma, Engineering(Mechanical)

or equivalent certificate from Technical Institute.

2. Preferably with some working experience in the related field especially in excavator or

construction heavy equipment service and repair industry.

3. Have a good communication skills and ability to speak and write in English.

4. Possess a good working attitude, self-motivated, a team player with good interpersonal skill.

5. Possess a valid driving license and GDL

6. Have a very good physical strength and a good stamina.

7. Ability to work after-hours if required and willing to travel outstation without hesitation.

8. Able to start work immediately or with short notice is preferred.
