Job summary

Ak Land Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our automotive team on a full-time basis. You will diagnose mechanical issues, perform maintenance, and ensure safety and quality standards across vehicle repairs.

You will work with a modern workshop, use diagnostic equipment, and collaborate with team members to deliver reliable service to customers. A formal automotive qualification and relevant workshop experience are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanic in a workshop.
• Strong technical knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes.

• Valid driving licence and ability to test drive vehicles.

Responsibilities

About the role

Ak Land Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our automotive team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs and maintenance, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. What you'll be doing

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge
• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-ups
• Repair and replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
• Conduct inspections and testing of vehicles to identify issues and ensure roadworthiness
