Job summary

Asialink Motor & Tyre Services Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team on a contractual basis. You will perform repairs and routine servicing to keep vehicles running safely and efficiently.

The role requires hands-on experience with automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and strong problem-solving, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer service. A valid driver''s license is required and you will work on-site within Sabah.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong technical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of vehicle systems.
Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
A commitment to providing high-quality work and exceptional customer service.
A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate a variety of vehicles.

Responsibilities

Conducting regular inspections and servicing of vehicles to identify and resolve any issues.
Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our fleet.
Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to protect both yourself and others.
