Job summary

Jabil in Malaysia (Penang) seeks a Photonic Manufacturing Technician to assemble photonic components and perform precision alignment in a cleanroom using fiConTec 6-axis aligner.

The role requires an associate diploma or higher in Photonics, Optics, Electronics or related field and at least 1 year of related experience. You will troubleshoot, maintain equipment, ensure quality, and follow safety and ESD protocols.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Photonic Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling at auto aligner and troubleshooting in daily shiftily basis . This role requires a strong understanding of photonics, precision assembly techniques using fiContec machine , and the ability to work in a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly and Testing: Assemble photonic components and systems according to detailed specifications and diagrams. Perform precision alignment of optical components using fiContec 6 axis aligner.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve issues with photonic devices and manufacturing equipment. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of photonic manufacturing equipment.
• Quality Control: Document and report any defects or discrepancies.
• Cleanroom Compliance: Adhere to cleanroom protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Diploma or higher in Photonics, Optics, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in photonic or optical device manufacturing.
• Skills: Proficiency in using optical alignment tools and equipment.- fiConTec ( 6 axis aligner ) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
