INVENTEC APPLIANCES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking an experienced Materials Planner who will optimise inventory, coordinate procurement, production and distribution to ensure product availability and cost efficiency.

The role requires data-driven oversight of stock levels, cycle counts, and ERP/MRP systems (SAP or equivalent). You will contribute to lean improvements and maintain accurate records using Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and stock valuation methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across warehouse locations.
• Apply inventory management principles and planning.
• Utilize MRP and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for planning.
• Manage replenishment, safety stock, and demand planning.
• Conduct cycle counting and physical inventories.
• Optimize inventory using FIFO/FEFO and other methods.
• Excel-based data analysis and reporting.
