Job summary

• Analyzes inspection, evaluation and test data.
• Feedback quality performance and follow-up on quality issues with suppliers.
• Active involvement in quality improvement program with suppliers.
• Leads in sourcing for substitute/ alternative materials to achieve cost savings, ensuring assurance of supply and / or improve quality of piece-parts.
• Assists manufacturing in evaluating material related issues to ensure correct disposition of non-conformance materials.

Identifies and evaluates alternative materials or suppliers to maintain competitive quality, assurance of supply and/or pricing of piece-parts. Provide technical support for NPI (New Product Introduction) & Product Transfer.
