Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a detail‑oriented MRP Executive to optimize supply chain operations and manage material planning. You will analyze forecasts, BOMs and production schedules to determine raw material needs, manage procurement, and ensure materials are available on time to meet production targets.

You will review inventory levels, coordinate with multiple departments, and address CTB inquiries while tracking material usage and driving continuous improvements in material flow and cost

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in material/production planning, inventory management, purchasing, or related position.
• Strong MS Excel skills and numerical aptitude.
• Strong communication and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Planner to optimize our supply chain operations and inventory management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the supply of materials required to meet production targets, handle tasks related to procurement, inventory, and material management. This role requires an analytical mind and excellent negotiation skills to streamline processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity. Analyse projected forecast, production schedules & Bill of Materials (BOM) to determine raw material requirements for pre-order & purchase requisitions.

· Review inventory level and production schedules to prevent shortages or excesses, ensure that materials are available in the right quantities and at the right time to meet production schedules.

· Work closely with other departments (Supply Chain, Production, Warehouse, Design, Program) to ensure seamless material flow for order fulfilment and address any disruptions.

· Address inquiries regarding project Clear-To-Build (CTB), status of shortage materials, and mitigation plan proposal.

· Track and monitor production volume of critical materials.

· Track material usage and reconcile differences between planned and actual consumption.

· Maintain effective communication, coordination, and interpersonal relationship with team members within and among departments.

· Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce wastage & inefficiencies in the material flow, improve material planning processes and reduce costs.

· Support relevant ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors.

Job Requirement

· Min 1 years’ experience in material/production planning, inventory management, purchasing, or related position.

· Diploma and above in Electrical engineering , business, finance, logistics, inventory management, supply chain or related fields are preferred.

· Basic knowledge of material planning fundamentals, scheduling, Material Requirements Planning (MRP) techniques, manufacturing processes and supply chain management.

· Good in Microsoft Excel, numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Good communication and coordination skill to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.

· Self-motivated and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with minimum supervision.

· Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Mandarin-speaking candidates will have extra advantage.
