Job summary

Teradyne Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a focused Material Planner for our Mainland Penang site to drive MRP-driven purchasing, timely PO releases, and proactive supplier coordination in a high-volume environment.

You will monitor shortages, manage escalations with commodity teams, handle ECNs, and support across Asia-based HVM planning. Requirements include a BA/BS, strong MRP knowledge, and excellent English; local candidates only, visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degrees preferred; strong understanding of MRP logic and purchasing skills.
• Experience with PO release, PO management, and supplier management.
• Experience handling ECNs is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Local candidates only; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Analyze MRP results and release POs promptly.
• Manage PO release, expediting, cancellations per MRP results.
• Escalate shortages to commodity management for recovery plans.
• Address PO issues including PPV, shipping/receiving, AP problems, and RMA if supplier quality issues.
• Handle ECNs and communicate changes with suppliers.
• Support HVM planning teams across Asia.
