Job summary

Teradyne in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a procurement/planning professional to support customer requests and optimize delivery commitments. The role focuses on MRP logic, inventory planning, and ECO coordination in an onsite manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel with smooth use of formulas; Access knowledge is a plus.
• Strong understanding of MRP, planning, and ATP concepts.
• Basic forecasting process familiarity and ability to analyze demand.
• Good problem-solving abilities and results-oriented mindset.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to learn under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with Marketing to understand customer needs and support requests.
• Analyze customer changes, ATPs, trade-offs, and simulate with contract manufacturer for best delivery commitments.
• Develop and maintain demand variance buffers to support independent forecasts.
• Identify and manage issues affecting on-time delivery (shortages, demand drops, ECO impacts).
• During ECOs and deviations, review and approval responsibilities.
• Perform LTB parts ATP calculation and commitment.
• Ensure paperwork is cleared to guarantee slots for launching and shipping (CORC, bookings, holds).
• Handle refurb material applications and customer approval processes.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned.
