Job summary

Adhes packaging technology (Malaysia) sdn bhd is seeking a Material Handler to manage material issuance, verification, and ERP transactions in a manufacturing setting. You will monitor stock levels and ensure accurate ERP records while assisting with stocktakes and discrepancies.

The role requires forklift operation experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work overtime when needed. Mandarin language skills are an advantage for communication with suppliers and production teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in manufacturing, material handling, warehouse or related field.
• Forklift operating experience is required.
• Basic computer skills; ERP system experience is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and comfortable working with numbers.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Handle raw material issuance, checking and delivery according to the production plan and work orders.
• Verify material name, item code, specification, batch number and quantity to ensure accuracy.
• Perform material issuance, additional issuance and return transactions in the ERP system according to company procedures.
• Monitor raw materials and remaining materials at the production area and arrange material returns when required.
• Ensure ERP records, documents and actual material quantities are accurate and consistent.
• Assist with stocktaking and investigation of material discrepancies.
• Maintain proper housekeeping of the material area and comply with company safety and 6S requirements.
• Report wrong materials, shortages, quantity discrepancies or other abnormalities to the Production Officer.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Production Officer.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
