The successful candidate will oversee event execution, manage budgets, and collaborate with various teams. Requires 7+ years of event marketing experience and excellent organisational and communication skills. This is a contract position for 6 months.

Role Summary:

We’re looking for a contract Events Marketing Manager to drive B2B event strategy and execution for our tech client, creating impactful experiences that amplify brand presence and accelerate business growth

Role:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define event objectives, scope, deliverables, and KPIs, ensuring performance is tracked effectively.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor event budgets to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to approved resources.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for event agencies, vendors, and partners; provide clear briefs and oversee quality execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Research, Sponsorship, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment across all event elements.
  • Act as the Project Management Office (PMO) for events, managing timelines, deliverables, communications, and mitigating risks for successful execution.
  • Compile post-event reports analysing performance against KPIs and deliver actionable recommendations for improvement.

You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of event marketing or management experience, preferably within B2B environments.
  • Proven track record managing and executing successful events from inception to completion, on time and within budget.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with a keen eye for detail, managing multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong relationship-builder, adept at collaborating with agencies, cross-functional teams, and vendors.
  • Experience managing international events is a plus.
  • Outcome-driven with a focus on delivering high-quality results aligned with business objectives.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills to cover projects across APAC.
