Job summary

VIQ APPAREL SDN. BHD. is seeking a Marketing Executive specializing in Social Media & Digital Content.

You will manage Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, plan content calendars, and craft engaging videos and posts that reflect the brand’s image. You’ll write captions, respond to inquiries, and monitor performance to support campaigns. The role requires a Diploma/degree in Marketing or related fields, proficiency with CapCut and Canva, and strong English with Bahasa Malaysia copy.

• Experience in social media management and content creation.
• Proficient in CapCut and Canva for video/content creation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and maintain content calendars.
• Develop creative content ideas and create engaging videos, Reels, photos, and Stories.
• Write captions and publish content with consistent brand voice across channels.
• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated on trends to boost brand awareness and audience interaction.
• Monitor performance and prepare basic reports on reach, engagement and growth.
• Support campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
• Ensure content aligns with brand image, tone, and marketing objectives.

Manage the company's social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Plan and maintain content calendars to ensure consistent and engaging content.

Develop creative content ideas, conduct video shooting, and edit engaging videos, Reels, photos, and Stories for social media platforms.

Handle caption writing and content publishing while ensuring consistent brand communication.

Respond to comments, messages, and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Stay updated on social media trends to create engaging content that increases brand awareness and audience interaction.

Monitor social media performance and prepare basic reports on content reach, engagement, and growth.

Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.

Ensure all content aligns with the brand's image, tone, and marketing objectives.

Skills/ Knowledge required:-

Diploma or degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.

Experience in social media management and content creation.

Proficient in video editing tools such as CapCut and design tools such as Canva.

Good copywriting skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Creative, proactive, and familiar with current social media trends.

Good organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.

Comfortable appearing on camera and participating in video shoots when required.

Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies, including AI-powered video generation tools.

Interest in fashion, sportswear, fitness, or lifestyle content is an advantage.
