Job summary

Funding Societies | Modalku in Malaysia is looking for a Marketing Communications Intern to support planning and execution of campaigns across investor and SME segments. You will track performance, assist with social media, events, and cross‑unit coordination to ensure successful campaigns.

We seek undergraduates/final year students in Marketing or Communications with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, basic Canva skills, and a collaborative, proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates/ final year student in a degree in Marketing / Mass Comm / Communication or any related field.
• Proactive, independent, results‑oriented and a highly motivated self‑starter.
• Value‑adding team player and able to work as a team with good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning, organization and time management skills with strong follow‑through abilities.
• Highly creative with basic experience in planning and executing campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
• Strong command of written and oral English and Bahasa Malaysia. Good command of written and oral Mandarin will be a plus.
• Possess good communication styles and is able to leverage on the team's abilities.
• Proficiency in basic graphic design, editing, and recording skills for campaign and social media purposes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Marcomm team to implement marketing and communication strategies for investor and SME segments.
• Contribute insights to identify opportunities and monitor market trends.
• Track, consolidate, and analyse performance metrics for marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate with business units to ensure smooth campaign execution.
• Assist in managing social media activities, reports, and engagement.
• Participate in offline and online events, helping setup and execution.
• Be flexible for additional responsibilities and ad hoc tasks.
