Job summary

Funding Societies | Modalku is looking for a current student or recent graduate for an internship in customer experience (CX) in Malaysia. You will engage with customers, assist onboarding and KYC checks, and support daily operations within the CX portfolio.

The role emphasizes empathetic service, attention to detail, and data-driven improvements. A monthly RM1,000 allowance is provided. Eligible candidates are fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia and tech-savvy with new software tools.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recent graduate in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• High attention to detail and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist Customer Engagement by responding to inquiries across omni-channel systems with speed and empathy.
• Support onboarding and basic KYC verifications under supervision.
• Handle day-to-day CX operations and admin tasks to keep processes efficient.
• Compile data from chats and calls for service improvements.
• Track performance metrics and understand impact on company goals.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and align with company values.

What you will do :

• Support Customer Engagement: Assist the team in delivering best-in-class experiences by responding to customer inquiries via our omni-channel support systems. You will learn to engage with speed, empathy, and effectiveness
• Assist with Onboarding & Compliance: Support the new customer onboarding process by helping to process applications and conducting initial KYC (Know Your Customer) verification checks under supervision
• Operational Support: Handle day-to-day operational and administrative tasks within the CX portfolio to ensure the department runs efficiently
• Data Compilation: Assist in gathering feedback from chats & calls for the team to look into service improvements.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and contribute to customer success metrics, learning how individual performance impacts company goals.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Current student or recent graduate in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• High attention to detail, especially regarding data entry and compliance checks
• Empathy and a genuine desire to help people
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new software tools

This internship comes with a monthly allowance of RM1,000.
