Master Systems is looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Malaysia office. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, promoting the company's marine products and services, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the marine, offshore, shipbuilding, ship repair, and industrial sectors.
Generate leads and establish contact with potential customers, vessel owners, shipyards, ship management companies, contractors, and other relevant organizations.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate marine equipment, systems, and services offered by Master Systems.
Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and commercial offers to customers.
Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, and sales opportunities.
Conduct customer visits, meetings, presentations, and product discussions as required.
Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and regularly update sales opportunities.
Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities in the Malaysian market.
Coordinate with the Technical, Service, Procurement, Operations, and Accounts teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders and requirements.
2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related commercial role.
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Must have permanent/rightful authorization to work in Malaysia.
Ability to independently identify prospects, generate leads, and follow up on sales opportunities.
Willingness to travel within Malaysia for customer meetings and business development activities.
Experience in marine, shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore, engineering, industrial equipment, or technical products will be an advantage.
Knowledge of the marine industry and marine equipment.
Existing contacts or experience with shipyards, ship owners, ship management companies, marine contractors, or offshore companies will be an advantage.
Ability to understand customer requirements and communicate technical information in a simple and professional manner.
