Job summary

Luminous Beauty Glass Sdn Bhd is seeking a maintenance technician in Kulim, Kedah to inspect, diagnose, and repair a range of production equipment. You will execute preventive maintenance plans and respond to emergencies to reduce downtime.

You will also oversee utility systems, ensuring safe power, compressed air, cooling water, and drainage operations, and provide guidance on basic equipment maintenance to frontline staff.

Qualifications

• Received professional training in mechanical and electrical fields.
• Electrician operation certificate or welder certificate preferred.
• Strong learning ability and hands-on problem-solving skills on site.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose faults, and repair production equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Execute preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and participate in emergency repairs.
• Ensure safe, stable operation of utility systems; guide operators on basic maintenance.

Job description

Luminous Beauty Glass Sdn Bhd - Kulim, Kedah

Equipment repair and maintenance: responsible for daily inspection, fault diagnosis and repair of production equipment (e.g. mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems), execute preventive maintenance plans, and participate in emergency repair of sudden equipment failures to reduce downtime.

Utility system operation and assurance: responsible for the safe, stable and efficient operation of the factory's power supply, compressed air system, cooling water system, water supply and drainage system, etc.

Technical support: participate in the installation, commissioning and acceptance of new equipment and provide technical feedback; guide operators in basic equipment maintenance to raise equipment management awareness among frontline staff.

Basic Qualifications

Received professional training in mechanical and electrical fields; holding an electrician operation certificate or welder certificate is preferred.

Strong learning ability and hands-on ability, with strong on-site problem analysis and solving capability in manufacturing.

Familiarity with automated production lines and PLC control systems is preferred.
