Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a maintenance technician to support manufacturing and assembly by performing setup, calibration, testing, and routine maintenance on production equipment. The role focuses on preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, be able to work a 7am–7pm shift with OT as needed, and demonstrate strong communication, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in production/maintenance as technician.
• Able to work shift (7am–7pm) and support OT if needed.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must have good or corrected eyesight to ensure quality of work.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 kg frequently.
• Ability to crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at various heights.
• Good basic math skills.
• Attention to detail and target oriented.
• Good mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting ability.
• Must have a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance activities to assist in manufacturing and assembling products per established processes.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Assist with set-up, calibration, testing, maintenance, and operation of equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform repairs as needed.
• Follow blueprints, manuals, sketches and verbal instructions for maintenance tasks.
• Support training of lower level maintenance staff on troubleshooting techniques.
