Job summary

Medtronic Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production operators, manage shift scheduling, and monitor daily targets as we launch a new regional plant. You will ensure workforce readiness, coach operators, and support knowledge transfer during startup and ramp-up, contributing to operational excellence within a world‑leading medical technology company.

Travel may be required for international collaborations; you will join a dynamic team focused on delivering life-changing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience as a Line Lead.
• Experience leading operators or manufacturing teams.
• Experience with shift scheduling and manpower planning.
• Experience supporting training activities and workforce development.
• Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs and operational reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading manufacturing operators and supporting training cohorts during plant startup, knowledge transfer, and operational ramp‑up activities. This role provides day‑to‑day supervision of production personnel while ensuring workforce readiness, operational performance, and employee support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise manufacturing operators and production personnel.
• Manage shift scheduling and manpower planning.
• Monitor daily production targets and operational performance.
• Track, report, and escalate manufacturing KPIs as required.
• Coordinate resource loading and workforce planning activities.
• Support conflict management and employee relations matters.
• Coach and develop operators to support operational readiness and performance.
• Support training cohorts and knowledge transfer activities during startup and ramp‑up.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of prior supervisory experience as Line Lead
• Experience managing operators or manufacturing teams.
• Experience with shift scheduling and manpower planning.
• Experience supporting training activities and workforce development.
• Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs and operational reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience supporting plant startup, knowledge transfer, or operational ramp‑up activities.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with growing team structures.
