Job summary

Seagate Technology in Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist (Operator) to work under close supervision in a manual/semi-manual production environment, following process sheets and written/verbal instructions.

You will rotate shifts, maintain housekeeping, meet quality goals, and deliver quality products while adhering to safety, documentation, and cleanroom practices. Training and continuous improvement are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Flexible to transfer to other duties as needed to meet business needs.
• Willing to work on rotation shift hours.
• SPM and STPM / PMR holders who have related experience.

Responsibilities

• Always wear appropriate safety protection and ensure compliance with Health & Safety policy and procedures.
• Maintain one's own work area to established housekeeping standards.
• Perform to meet departmental goals and quality targets.
• Provide quality products and services that meet customer requirements.
• Maintain processes within pre-determined limits and monitor non-conformance.
• Help identify and eliminate problems.
• Assist in simplification and/or improvements of procedures, techniques, or processes.
• Adhere to all relevant documentation systems used in the production procedure.
• Observe Cleanroom and wafer handling etiquette.
• Undertake training as required.

• Work under general supervision, performing routine and complex manufacturing problems as per traveler, manufacturing processes and associated documents

• Knowledge and hands on experience in manufacturing process

• Bekerja di bawah pengawasan umum, melaksanakan masalah pembuatan rutin dan kompleks mengikut perjalanan kerja, proses pembuatan dan dokumen berkaitan
