Job summary

Master Tec Wire & Cable seeks a skilled supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in Alor Gajah, Melaka. You will drive production schedules, maximize machinery throughput, and ensure optimal manpower allocation across shifts.

You will monitor performance, minimize waste, lead lean initiatives, enforce 5S and safety standards, and collaborate with QA/QC, engineering, and maintenance to resolve issues and sustain IMS compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of supervisory or executive experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and knowledge of lean manufacturing and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and maximize throughput.
• Monitor machine performance, reduce waste, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, train, and supervise technicians and operators on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with QA/QC to ensure IMS standards and product specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance for routine servicing and breakdown resolution.
• Track production output, scrap rates, and OEE; prepare management reports.
