Job summary

BROOKS AUTOMATION MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks an experienced Assistant Quality Assurance Manager to lead daily quality operations on the manufacturing floor and drive CAPA, NCR, and 8D resolutions. You will manage Quality Engineers and Inspectors, ensure QMS ISO 9001 compliance, and support supplier and customer audits.

You will mentor staff, analyze quality metrics, and collaborate with production to prevent recurrence of quality issues in a fast-paced high-tech manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related.
• 5–8 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading Quality Engineers and Inspectors.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality tools.
• Experience with audits, MES and ERP systems.
• Six Sigma Green Belt and CQE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily quality activities on the production floor.
• Manage and develop a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Inspectors.
• Drive CAPA, NCR, root cause analysis, and corrective action closure.
• Monitor quality performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with QMS, ISO 9001 requisitos SOPs and control plans.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain audit readiness.
• Coordinate customer quality issues, including 8D investigations and responses.
• Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and prevent recurrence.
