Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Manufacturing Production Process Engineer Associate in Malaysia. You will design, develop, and implement efficient mass-production processes, conduct tests, troubleshoot issues, and guide technical specifications to optimize equipment use and manufacturing techniques.

The role requires 2-3 years in Production/Process Engineering with a diploma/degree in engineering, calibration experience a plus, and strong adherence to SOPs and quality controls within a GxP framework.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Production/Process Engineering.
• Calib­ration activities experience is a plus.
• Skilled in maintaining machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure calibration activities are performed efficiently for plant-wide equipment.
• Review calibration datasheets/certificates and support calibration events.
• Monitor third-party calibration activity and coordinate with vendors.
• Design, develop, and implement efficient production processes for mass production.
• Ensure SOPs and quality standards (GxP) are followed and documentation is complete.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-saving projects.
