Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical or related) required.
• Fundamental understanding of process and product tech, with ability to support development and validation.
• Experience with equipment/tooling/materials selection, development, and implementation.
• Knowledge of problem-solving, root-cause analysis and process improvement.
• Exposure to quality systems, regulatory requirements and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates basic technical expertise on process/product technologies to support design, optimization, validation and troubleshooting.
• Provides input to equipment and tooling selection, design and development for upgrades or new installations.
• Applies DFSS/DMAIC tools with mentor to characterize and optimize performance.
• Supports experimentation and testing to characterize and troubleshoot processes and equipment.
• Supports introduction of new processes, equipment and materials with documentation and validation.
