Job summary

Nippon Electric Glass (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking a Production Engineer in Shah Alam to optimize processes, plan production, and ensure quality across manufacturing lines. The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Candidate will engage with maintenance teams to analyze failures, implement preventive strategies, and drive cost-reduction

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical OR Manufacturing Engineering from recognized universities.
Minimum 1–3 years working experience preferably with manufacturing background.
Able to work with less supervision.
Fresh graduates who are proactive & aggressive are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Process Optimization: Analyze workflow, equipment, and production data to eliminate bottlenecks and maximize yield.
Production Planning: Assist in creating master production schedules and allocate manpower, raw materials, and machinery effectively.
Quality Assurance: Monitor production metrics to ensure finished products consistently meet safety, regulatory, and ISO standards.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Work with maintenance team to investigate equipment failures and implement preventative maintenance or corrective engineering strategies.
Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce material waste, energy consumption, and overall manufacturing costs.
