Job summary

XP Power is seeking an IT Specialist and Helpdesk to support production IT systems across our Perak facility. You will maintain networks, software, and hardware, with a focus on production lines to keep operations running smoothly.

The role covers hardware rollout, end-user support, and routine system administration (AD/Azure/InTune) while addressing cyber security awareness. Requires a technical degree and about 2 years in IT roles, including 1 year in IT support.

Qualifications

Degree in electronics or computer technology.
Around 2 years in similar IT roles, with at least 1 year in IT support.
Experience in production industry IT support (JV or foreign-owned preferred).

Responsibilities

Production & Manufacturing IT Support across the factory.
Hardware deployment of industrial PCs, printers, PDAs, barcode scanners.
Shop-floor IT troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain connectivity.
Software updates, configuration changes for shop-floor hardware.
End-user and general IT support; first/second line for local and remote staff.
Network maintenance, CCTV, edge compute devices management.
Systems administration: AD, Azure, GPO, InTune; backup monitoring.
Document procedures and create work instructions; assist with cybersecurity alerts.
