Job summary

BROOKS INSTRUMENT MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an IT Technician to support production systems in a 24x7 manufacturing environment.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network components, providing on-site and remote assistance to users, and ensuring minimal downtime. Applicants should hold a Diploma or higher in IT, have at least 1 year of relevant experience, and possess strong English communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Diploma or higher qualification in an IT-related field.
At least 1 year of experience in an IT-related field is preferred.
Exposure to manufacturing environments is an advantage.
Understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) environment is helpful.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT-related equipment.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to users and clients.
Install and maintain security systems, communication systems, and IT infrastructure.
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Ensure all IT installations comply with company safety, quality, and IT standards.
Maintain accurate documentation for all devices, system changes, and support activities.
Assist with basic network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Support Microsoft 365 (M365) user setup, basic administration, and troubleshooting.
Work closely with team members and report issues clearly to supervisors.
