Job summary

Hatch Asia, Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a Head of Manufacturing to lead and optimize our client’s manufacturing operations from floor to strategy. You will drive efficiency, safety, and cost discipline while aligning production with business targets. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, data-driven decision making, and the ability to influence across functions to deliver continuous improvement in a construction materials environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management; Masters preferred.
• Senior manufacturing leadership experience in construction materials.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage manufacturing operations, ensuring quality, schedules, and safety.
• Analyze production data to optimize costs and productivity.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for efficiency, cost, quality, and safety.
• Drive headcount optimization and workforce efficiency while maintaining morale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges.
• Monitor production volumes and margins to hit targets.
• Enforce best health and safety practices and promote continuous improvement.
