Job summary

Hirehub Management Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced production leader to oversee daily assembly operations, plan manpower and resources, and lead a team of operators and supervisors. You will monitor KPIs, enforce SOPs and safety, and push continuous improvements across production lines.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, a relevant engineering degree, and strong communication in Mandarin and English. This on-site position offers regular hours and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in assembly or production operations.
• Proven experience supervising production operators and managing daily assembly activities.
• Good understanding of assembly processes, production planning and shop-floor management.
• Ability to monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English for work-related communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily assembly operations to meet production targets, product quality and delivery schedules.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, production schedules and resource allocation for smooth production flow.
• Supervise and lead assembly operators and team leaders.
• Monitor production output, productivity and defect rates; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure assembly processes comply with SOPs, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning and Warehouse to resolve issues and ensure material availability.
• Monitor usage of materials, tools and equipment to minimise waste.
• Train, guide and evaluate production personnel to improve skills and performance.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and manpower records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce defects and costs.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned by management.

Education

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field

3–5 years of experience in assembly or production operations
