Job summary

Volvo Car Manufacturing Malaysia seeks engineers with a Diploma in Engineering to implement and verify changes in product and process. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams in the plant and ME, driving timely and cost-efficient program introductions and equipment implementations.

You will lead equipment development, installation and verification, work with stakeholders globally, and contribute to FMEA processes while ensuring manufacturing requirements are met and fostering

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Implement and verify changes (product & process) in a safe and quality assured way.
• Implement the changes (product & process) together with the cross functional team in the plant and within ME.
• Timely, cost-effective and safe introduction of programs, non -product projects and the implementation of new equipment within my area of responsibility.
• Have the mandate to secure execution of activities defined in my time plan and escape program issues to the Area Leader.
• Lead, align and execute the development, procurement, installation and verification of needed equipment.
• Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and colleagues locally and globally to align, share information, learn and introduce the best process solutions.
• Develop lean, robust and safe products, equipment and process solutions in a cross functional context
• Responsible for the Equipment FMEA and contribute to the Process FMEA.
• Use the knowledge and experience in both the product and process to ensure that the manufacturing requirements are met.
• Work and collaborate within a cross -functional team.
• Share learnings with the global team and create a positive and constructive environment that encourages creativity, innovation and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas where workload can be shared more efficiently and effectively.

Competence and Qualification Requirement

• Diploma in any Engineering or related field.
