Job summary

Teleflex Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager to oversee preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and drive cost improvements. You will manage asset lifecycles, mentor engineers, and coordinate development with operations to meet safety and regulatory standards in a fast-paced medical device environment.

The role requires 5–10 years in manufacturing with 4–5 years in management, a degree in engineering, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronic) or related field.
• 5–10 years in manufacturing; 4–5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor equipment lifecycle and plan mitigations.
• Lead cost-improvement projects and manage OPEX.
• Mentor equipment engineering team.
• Coordinate between development and operations.
