Job summary

JST Connectors (M) Sdn. Bhd. is hiring for 10 full-time engineers across Molding, Stamping and Facilities in Gelang Patah, Johor.

You will support electrical and mechanical systems, participate in machine setups and process improvements, and collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and other departments. Diploma or degree holders with 2–3 years’ experience or fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant working experience preferred in manufacturing, production engineering, industrial automation, or related technical fields.
• Hands-on experience in Molding, Stamping, or Facilities Maintenance is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of PLCs, automatic insertion machines, troubleshooting and changeover procedures is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support to ensure smooth, efficient manufacturing operations.
• Analyse and troubleshoot machine abnormalities, equipment breakdowns, and production-related technical issues.
• Support machine setup, parameter adjustment, changeover, and process optimisation.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, automated machinery, and electrical control systems.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and improvement proposals.
