Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) based in Senai, Johor. The candidate should hold an engineering degree and have PCB manufacturing experience to contribute to product development, tooling, stamping and molding initiatives.

The role involves leading a team, coordinating with suppliers, performing root cause analyses, and driving process improvements to meet established quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the PCB manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Focus on product development, tooling, stamping & molding is an advantage.
• Experienced in preparing, reviewing and verifying various reports as required.
• Knowledgeable in problem solving, root cause analysis & diagnosing faults.
• Possess good knowledge of new product introduction, project follow up and leading a team.
• Skilled in electrical process; troubleshooting, design coordination and cross-functional coordination.
• Proactive in identifying improvement areas and drives improvement initiatives in ensuring process and quality is comply with established standards.
• Skilled in technical support communication with other sections and coordinating effectively with supplier.
• Possess good knowledge of new part development activities including tooling coordination, sample validation and drawing specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept to pilot runs in PCB manufacturing.
• Coordinate tooling, stamping and molding activities with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare, review and verify technical reports and specifications.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions across processes.
• Support new part development including tooling coordination and sample validation.
