Job summary

HP Malaysia is seeking an early-career Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to reliable manufacturing solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement processes across the product lifecycle and prepare manufacturing documentation.

This role emphasizes continuous improvement, tool optimization, and collaboration with internal and outsourced partners to deliver cost-effective outcomes for products of low to moderate complexity.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of work experience, preferably in engineering design and solutions.
• APICS and Six Sigma certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs portions of engineering solutions and manufacturing processes for parts and assemblies.
• Develops relationships with internal and outsourced partners for product development.
• Establishes and maintains manufacturing processes across the product life cycle.
• Develops and distributes manufacturing documentation to support design and build.
• Implements time standards, layouts, and tooling requirements for subsystems.
• Collaborates with project teams to deliver cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
• Identifies areas for improvement and communicates implementation plans.
• Solves problems in straightforward situations with attention to detail.
• Publishes updates on resolutions and communicates findings internally.
• Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers.
