Job summary

HP in Malaysia seeks an Engineer to design manufacturing solutions for parts and assemblies, implementing standards and tooling requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize factory performance.

The role develops capacity models, cost estimates, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. You will join cross-functional teams supporting new-product introduction through lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Typically 2–4 years of work experience in engineering design and solutions, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Designs portions of engineering solutions for manufacturing of parts, assemblies, and subsystems.
• Implements time standards, layouts and tooling requirements for production.
• Develops cost estimates, capacity models and recommendations for tooling and processes.
• Develops KPIs to measure factory performance and provides recommendations to management.
• Collaborates with management, internal and outsourced partners on processes, compliance and issues.
• Captures recommendations for problem resolution and supports project teams for reliable manufacturing solutions.
• Ensures compliance with internal and external regulations.
