Job summary

Sanmina-SCI Systems (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive automation initiatives across design, testing and production. You will participate in sustaining automation solutions, analyze failures and implement improvements in manufacturing lines.

The role emphasizes cost justification, budgeting for capital projects and end-to-end project execution from design to implementation, with robotics/AI experience as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic or similar field.
• Minimum knowledge on equipment maintenance.
• Experience with robotics, AI and machine learning is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of SolidWorks is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of general purpose programming language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Explore and implement new technology, equipment or system to automate manual processes.
• Design and testing of new equipment and processes.
• Attend, sustain and improve production related automation issues.
• Analyze process automation failures and define improvement activities.
