Job summary

SANMINA-SCI SYSTEMS (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking a diligent Purchasing/Admin support professional in Penang to maintain filing systems, ensure compliance of Plant Purchasing with policy, and produce cost analyses for weekly reviews.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree, is a fresh graduate or has up to 1 year in OEM/EMS, with strong MS Office skills and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields.
• Fresh Graduate or min 1 year experience in OEM/EMS.
• Fluent communication skills with positive working attitude. Be a self starter and innovative.
• Understanding of plant’s MRP, materials management process, Purchasing process and Office software applications.
• Oracle and Microsoft Office ( namely MS Excel , MS Access and MS PowerPoint ) hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and user friendly filing for recording and tracking of all documents.
• Make sure Plant Purchasing comply with corporate Policy.
• Run reports and perform analytical skills.
• Coordinate with Plant for cost mitigation. Make sure no repeated off renders moving forward.
• Analyze & prepare detailed findings on profit margin dropped / setback/abnormal for the weekly conference call.
• Analyze and work closely with Plant Program to perform claims recovery
• Support regular checking, respond tp cost analysis report, PO compliance and supplier preferred .
• Assist on any Ad-Hoc tasks as required by the management
