Job summary

Dunham Bush Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer to support production, cost and process improvements in our Bukit Angkat, Kajang facility. The role partners with multiple departments to drive efficiency and quality improvements.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, with 1–2 years of related experience; fresh graduates are welcome. Mandarin is an added advantage, and the position is based in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Angkat, Kajang; only shortlisted applicants will be notified.

Responsibilities

• liaise with the sales department to provide manufacturing information to support job quotation.
• Develop all the production routing process, product cost standard hour and configurator setup in support of JDE implementation.
• Perform time study, process cycle time, line balancing, process improvement to reduce manufacturing overhead.
• Establish process documentation and work instruction in support of process change and improvement.
• Ensure that the requirements in ISO are being complied.
• Participate in Lean/Kaizen activities
• Assist shop floor on JDE system issue.
• Investigate and report issues on production line.
• Work together with production, QC, Engineering and others department to improve product quality and cost containment project.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.
• Any other duties assigned by the Management.
• The Company may at any time, deemed necessary, add or amend any of these job responsibilities.
