Job summary

Cadbury Confectionary Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam is hiring a Manual Packer Operator on a fixed-term 6-month contract to support the confectionery production line. You will manually pack products, check counts, and ensure accuracy while upholding GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent.
• Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply; manufacturing experience not required.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manually pack finished chocolate and confectionery products into cartons, trays, or retail packaging according to production specifications.
• Ensure correct product count, weight, batch code, and expiry date before sealing and dispatch.
• Assemble packaging materials and replenish packing supplies when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area in compliance with GMP and food safety requirements.
• Follow SOPs, GMP, and all Health, Safety, Environment policies.
• Report product quality issues, equipment abnormalities, or safety concerns to the Line Leader or Supervisor immediately.
• Support production targets by maintaining productivity and minimizing product waste.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S workplace standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Production Management.

Join our dynamic team at Cadbury Confectionary Malaysia Sdn Bhd as a Manual Packer Operator. In this Fixed Term Contract position based in Shah Alam, Selangor, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment to ensure the smooth and efficient production of our beloved confectionery products.

What you'll be doing

The Manual Packer is responsible for manually packing confectionery products according to company quality, food safety, and production standards. The role ensures products are packed accurately, efficiently, and safely while maintaining high housekeeping and hygiene standards.

Manually pack finished chocolate and confectionery products into cartons, trays, or retail packaging according to production specifications.

Ensure correct product count, weight, batch code, and expiry date before sealing and dispatch.
Assemble packaging materials and replenish packing supplies when required.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area in compliance with GMP and food safety requirements.

Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and all Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) policies.

Report product quality issues, equipment abnormalities, or safety concerns to the Line Leader or Supervisor immediately.

Support production targets by maintaining productivity and minimizing product waste.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S workplace standards.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Production Management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is an advantage but not essential.
