Job summary

JJA Glass Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day full-set accounting, including AP/AR, GL, reconciliations and month-end closing. Mandarin language ability is mandatory for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and associates.

The role requires 2+ years in full-set accounting, preferably in SME or similar settings, with strong Excel skills and governance awareness. The position covers monthly reporting, multitarget coordination with auditors and tax agents, and

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience handling a full set of accounts.
• Experience in SME, trading, distribution, manufacturing or similar environment is an advantage.
• Proficient in accounts payable/receivable, GL, month-end closing.
• Familiar with SST and e-Invoicing where relevant.
• Mandarin is mandatory for work-related communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Record daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
• Perform bank, balance-sheet and subsidiary-ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management reports, profit and loss statements and balance-sheet schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, prepayments and account schedules.
• Monitor customer balances, follow up on outstanding invoices and support payment processing.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant authorities.
• Support SST, LHDN-related submissions and e-Invoicing requirements, where applicable to the business.
• Maintain an organised filing system and ensure accounting records are complete and audit-ready.
• Support payroll-related submissions such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB if this is included in the role scope.
