Job summary

Smartlink Consulting Sdn. Bhd. is hiring an Accountant who is Mandarin-speaking to support month-end closing, review and post accounting transactions, and coach junior team members in Johor Bahru. You will ensure accurate financial records and collaborate with regional stakeholders.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams, preparing audit schedules, and assisting in onboarding new accounting systems and data migration while strengthening internal controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• ACCA/CIMA/CPA advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in full-set accounts and month-end closing.
• Mandarin required for regional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review and post accounting transactions, provide guidance to junior team members.
• Manage monthly closing and review financial statements for accuracy.
• Prepare audit schedules and perform account reconciliations.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and group accountants to resolve issues.
• Assist in onboarding new accounting systems, data migration, and process improvements.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive continuous process improvements.
