Job summary

Nexpipo is seeking an Account Executive to join its Finance & Accounts team in Malaysia. You will manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR and GL, and handle local finance matters with accuracy and reliability.

You will prepare monthly and annual financial reports, assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end closings, perform bank reconciliations, and contribute to budgeting and financial analysis. Strong Bahasa Malaysia and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field will be an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience in AP, AR and GL is preferred.
• Experience handling full set of accounts will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SQL Accounting will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR and GL.
• Handle local accounting and finance matters.
• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end closing.
• Perform bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring.
• Prepare financial and management reports.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors when required.
• Assist with taxation and statutory compliance matters.
• Check and process company-related claims and supporting documents.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and filing.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by Management.
