Job summary

HEINEKEN Malaysia is seeking a Supply Chain Safety Manager to lead Safety & Health across brewery operations, customer service, logistics and planning. You will ensure risks are effectively managed and safety standards embedded in daily operations.

You will drive TPM Safety Pillar, coordinate regulatory engagement, manage risk assessments and incident investigations, and strengthen health, hygiene, and contractor safety practices across facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Occupational Safety & Health / Safety Management within manufacturing or logistics.
• Regulatory engagement with OSH authorities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety & Health governance across Supply Chain operations and drive continuous improvement.

As our Supply Chain Safety Manager, you will lead Safety & Health across brewery operations, customer service, logistics and planning, ensuring risks are effectively managed and safety standards are embedded into everyday operations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Safety & Health governance and performance across Supply Chain operations, driving continuous improvement and ensuring safety remains embedded in operational decision-making.
• Lead the TPM Safety Pillar, including the pillar roadmap, assessments, action plans and KPI delivery, while driving ownership across operational teams.
• Drive compliance with Malaysian Occupational Safety & Health regulatory requirements and HEINEKEN safety standards, including regulatory engagement where required.
• Manage operational risks and critical controls, including risk assessments, Permit-to-Work (PTW), high-risk work controls, Management of Change (MoC) and project safety reviews.
• Lead incident management and learning, including incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, effectiveness reviews and safety trend analysis.
• Strengthen occupational health and industrial hygiene management, working with competent persons, medical providers and relevant stakeholders to identify and control workplace health risks.
• Build safety capability and culture through training, employee participation, leadership engagement, coaching and behaviour / learning-based safety initiatives.
• Oversee contractor safety and emergency preparedness, ensuring high-risk contractor activities are effectively controlled and supporting emergency response readiness from a Safety & Health perspective.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in Occupational Safety & Health / Safety Management, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, supply chain or a similar operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSH regulatory requirements and regulatory engagement.
• Experience in TPM Safety Pillar or an equivalent continuous improvement system.
• Practical experience in risk assessment, critical control management, PTW, high-risk work, MoC, project safety reviews and contractor safety.
• Experience in incident investigation and learning methodologies, such as ICAM or equivalent.
• Knowledge of occupational health and industrial hygiene principles.
• Relevant OSH competency / registration, with OSH Coordinator certification as a minimum preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, influencing, coaching and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and balance operational practicality with risk and compliance requirements.
