Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a Manager/Senior Manager, Information Technology to lead IT operations, infrastructure and digitalization initiatives across the organization and its Group of Companies. The role focuses on strategic IT planning, governance and cost-efficient technology solutions.

You will drive IT projects, manage budgets, and ensure robust security, continuity plans and stakeholder alignment in a dynamic corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• 10-15 years of relevant IT experience, including senior-level IT management and team leadership in a corporate environment.
• Strong experience in IT operations, infrastructure, strategic planning, project management, systems development and IT governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Company's IT operations, infrastructure, systems and services to ensure reliable and effective support for business operations.
• Develop and/or translate strategic intent into actionable IT and digitalization blueprints that balance innovation, cost effectiveness, work process efficiency and business risks.
• Drive the evaluation, implementation and continuous improvement of IT systems, applications and technology solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency and business performance.
• Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, governance, internal controls and cybersecurity measures to ensure compliance with regulatory, audit and industry requirements.
• Manage IT projects, vendors, service providers and resources to ensure effective service delivery, cost efficiency and optimal use of technology investments.
• Develop and monitor IT operating and capital expenditure budgets, including business cases, cost-benefit analysis and investment priorities.
• Direct the maintenance and execution of the Company's disaster recovery and IT business continuity plan (BCP).
• Work closely with management and departmental stakeholders to identify business needs, improve IT services and support technology-driven business solutions.
• Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of performance agreements with end users/internal stakeholders and monitoring effectiveness of IT systems performance.
• Oversee IT security, infrastructure performance, data protection, disaster recovery and business continuity, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

ABOUT

A well-established Malaysian organization is seeking a capable and driven Manager/Senior Manager, Information Technology to lead its IT operations and drive technology and digitalization initiatives across the organization and its Group of Companies.

The successful candidate will oversee strategic IT plans and operations, infrastructure, systems and digitalization initiatives, ensuring technology solutions effectively support business objectives both at operational and Holding Company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field. A Master's Degree or MBA in a relevant field is preferred.

Experience & Technical Knowledge

10-15 years of relevant IT experience, including senior-level IT management and team leadership in a corporate environment.

Strong experience in IT operations, infrastructure, strategic planning, project management, systems development and IT governance.

Good understanding of IT business applications, corporate processes, budgeting, networks, hardware and operating systems.

Ability to assess IT systems, identify improvement opportunities and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

Ability to analyze and rationalize redundant systems and applications to ensure effective IT solutions and cost savings.

Experience in the MRO or aviation industry will be an added advantage.

Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead teams and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
