Job summary

Hartalega is seeking an experienced Manager to oversee QCP (Online Packing), OQC (Offline QC), and PTM (Post Treatment) operations in a manufacturing setting in Sepang, Malaysia. You will direct quality procedures, coordinate packaging activities, and ensure production objectives are met with high efficiency.

The role requires 8+ years in process manufacturing, proficiency with GMP and Lean/Six Sigma, and strong leadership to drive continuous improvement within D365 and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing or any equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in process manufacturing.
• Manufacturing technologies and processes, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Operational excellence principles and tools (e.g., Value streams, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
• Tools involved in resource planning and execution.
• Quality control and troubleshooting tools and techniques.
• Time study and manpower utilization calculation.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing quality procedures, standards, and specifications across QCP, OQC, and PTM.
• Plan and coordinate quality and packaging activities, including manpower allocation and duty rosters.
• Conduct product tests and inspections to evaluate quality and performance against customer requirements.
• Monitor and analyze QCP, OQC, PTM, and inventory reports (WIP, TMP, 2G) to drive accuracy and efficiency.
• Control glove inventories, including WIP, TMP, and 2G, and verify stock take accuracy.
• Drive productivity and efficiency improvements while reducing rejects, waste, downtime, and data variance in D365.
• Review and update quality system procedures, work instructions, and departmental planning schedules.
• Prepare budgets, KPI reviews, and monthly departmental reports for submission to Senior/General Manager.
• Manage staff performance, training and appraisals to build a capable and high-performing team.
• Enforce company regulations, quality standards, and Safety and Health requirements across all operations.
