Job summary

SD Guthrie International invites applications for a senior pricing professional to lead and optimize our central pricing model for a global market. You will collaborate with sales, trade and finance to deliver timely, and competitive quotes and manage commercial risk across product SKUs.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in commodity pricing, strong cross-functional leadership, and a track record in improving pricing tools and portfolio performance. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline.
• Ability to communicate clearly across various functions.
• Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in a pricing role for a commodity food ingredient company or relatable product.
• Experience in managing cross functional teams is a must.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a central pricing model & tool that will enable the sales team to derive one common source of truth to ensure timely and competitive quotes to customers in various markets.
• Maintain through regular interaction with the trade, sales & finance teams to build and maintain a pricing model/tool that is accurate.
• Manage product mismatch risk that arises from selling products that produce a simultaneous “byproduct” – eg: olein & stearin relationship. Quantifying and reporting this position on a daily basis.
• Review and optimize the overall SDGI differentiated product portfolio and work in tandem with sales and PID to introduce or reduce various SKUs through analysis of sales trends and market demand.
• Manage the master planner that oversees all aspects of commercial planning to ensure that monthly shipments are pushed out on time and that capacities across relevant refineries are maximized.
• Manage operation of the contract desk that ensures contract timeliness and compliance.
