Job summary

SD Guthrie Berhad is seeking a transformation and strategy professional to partner with business units and deliver value creation aligned with financial targets.

You will conduct diagnostics, develop initiatives, and support cross-functional teams while enabling real-time insights for management decisions in a hybrid workplace with ongoing learning and wellness programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or Finance-related disciplines; Masters or professional qualification preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Management Consulting, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Business Analysis, Commercial Operations, Manufacturing Operations, or Operational Excellence roles.
Strong stakeholder management and communication across diverse functions and nationalities.
Proficiency in programming languages (including Excel Macros) and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Partner with Business Units to develop and implement transformation programs to meet financial targets.
Conduct outside-in diagnostics and bottom-up value creation initiatives; support implementation and tracking.
Support cross-functional project teams to plan, manage and deliver value initiatives.
Develop or enhance monitoring systems for real-time insights used in decision-making.

Your Mission

Partner with Business Units to develop and implement transformation programs that will enable the achievement of their financial budget targets.
Conduct outside‑in diagnostics/analyses of operational and commercial levers, conduct bottom‑up identification and development of value creation initiatives, and support teams in the implementation and tracking of initiatives
Support cross‑functional project teams to plan, manage and deliver value creation initiatives
Develop or enhance monitoring systems that will enable on‑demand and real‑time insights into operational and commercial levers for management decision‑making

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, or Finance‑related disciplines. Masters or professional qualification would be an advantage
Minimum 2 years of working experience in Management Consulting, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Business Analysis, Commercial Operations, Manufacturing Operations, or Operational Excellence roles
Independent stakeholder management and strong communication skills across diverse functions and nationalities
Advantage if proficient in any programming language (including Excel Macros), data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), or statistical analysis tools.
