As a Manager of Team, you will lead multiple DevSecOps teams responsible for developing, operating, and continuously improving Business Intelligence products that support critical processes under the Finance Domain. Beyond ensuring stable operations and high-quality product delivery, you will shape product strategy, manage budgets and portfolios, and identify opportunities where technology, analytics, Generative AI, and Agentic AI can create measurable business benefits through improved quality, reduced costs, faster time-to-market, and enhanced user experience.

Working in a fast-paced global environment, you will collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, vendors, project stakeholders, and account managers to deliver complex initiatives on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations. You are a strong advocate of Product Management and Agile delivery practices, therefore a solid understanding of product lifecycle management, portfolio governance, and delivery methodologies such as Scrum, PSPO, Prince2, PMBOK, or similar frameworks will help you succeed.

You are passionate about data, analytics, and digital innovation, with a strong belief in making decisions based on insights rather than intuition. Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, and an eagerness to explore emerging technologies will be highly valued.

Financial planning, budgeting, and portfolio management are familiar territories for you, and you are comfortable balancing business priorities, investments, and delivery commitments.

Hi, my name is Melanie Garces Kovac and I’m the Head of Sub-Domain for BI Complex Data Solutions. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2006, when I took a role as Technical Consultant in the System Integration team. Gaining more hands‑on experience with Business Intelligence has always fascinated me, so I moved to the Business Intelligence team. From there, I moved fast through the company ladder and soon landed a Senior Architect role. In 2020, I moved to a management role, being BI Team Manager. Together with the strong support of a multinational & diverse team, we are working on our common ambition – to enable data‑driven decisions & accelerated insights that create business value.
