Job summary

DHL IT Services in Cyberjaya invites a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive continuous delivery, reliability and security across the GO2 product. You will partner with development, testing, architecture, business IT and infrastructure to design, implement, and optimize DevOps across the software lifecycle.

You will lead CI/CD initiatives, infrastructure automation, cloud-native adoption, monitoring, and production support while ensuring compliance with DHL IT Services standards.

Qualifications

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes.
• Manage GitHub Actions, or similar automation platforms.
• Improve release reliability and deployment frequency.
• Support and optimize Java-based & .NET-based applications.
• Experience in MSSQL DB, OpenShift and Python are required.
• Collaborate with development teams on application modernization initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance on performance optimization and scalability.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the continuous delivery, reliability, security, and operational excellence of the GO2 product. You will work closely with development, testing, architecture, business IT, and infrastructure teams to design, implement, and optimize DevOps practices across the software delivery lifecycle.

You will lead CI/CD initiatives, infrastructure automation, cloud-native adoption, monitoring, and production support while ensuring compliance with DHL IT Services standards and audit requirements. You will also contribute to AI-enabled engineering practices and mentor other team members on DevOps best practices.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes.
• Manage GitHub Actions, or similar automation platforms.

Application Engineering

• Support and optimize Java-based & .NET-based applications.
• Experience in MSSQL DB, OpenShift and Python are required.

• Support application hosting environments across virtual machines, containers, and cloud platforms.

Agile Delivery

• Work within Agile/SCRUM teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and release planning.
• Drive DevOps maturity and continuous improvement initiatives.

AI & Automation

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI in software delivery and operational support.
• Evaluate and implement AI-assisted development, testing, monitoring, and operational tooling.
• Promote use of AI-powered productivity and engineering solutions.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor junior engineers and DevOps practitioners.
• Coach project teams on DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, infrastructure, testing, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps and modernization initiatives.

Hi, my name is Dawn and I’m a team manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2006, when I took a role as Service Support Specialist in the DGF team. Gaining more hands-on experience with Express has always fascinated me, so I moved to the Customer Data team. From there, I moved fast through the company ladder and soon landed a Senior Project Manager role. In 2022, I moved to a management role, being GO2 Team Manager.
