Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia is seeking a Manager to lead the Entitlements processing team, ensuring timely and accurate executions and strong risk controls. You will drive performance, coach staff, and align delivery with global standards and client expectations.

The role focuses on operational excellence in Corporate Action Income processing, with emphasis on risk mitigation, continuous improvement, and leadership within a fast-paced financial services environment in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in ensuring timely, accurate processing of all Corporate Action Income events and daily entries, notifying or paying clients as appropriate.
• Deliver operational effectiveness by managing team performance against goals and providing continuous improvement ideas.
• Manage risks by proactively identifying potential issues and mitigating them; strive for audit-friendly results and train the team.
• Build a high-performance team by hiring, training, and developing members to meet operational goals; conduct semi-annual reviews and ensure testing of Business Recovery Plans.
• Provide strong leadership by promoting values, ensuring high-quality standards, and meeting senior-management expectations.
• Oversee resources to ensure daily BAU tasks are completed with high quality and deadlines are met.
• Leverage operational data (metrics, KPIs, tracker logs) to drive business decisions and team performance.

As a Manager, you are responsible to provide clients with timely, accurate and efficient processing of all Entitlement events and associated daily entries and to ensure that the investor/client is notified and/or paid as appropriate, to manage Operational risk, development of the team’s operational capabilities and to optimize operational efficiency and to support the Senior Management of Custody Malaysia in the continuous development of efficient and effective organization with a high focus on risk mitigation.

Working Hours: 9:00AM – 6:00PM (Malaysia time)

What will you do?

• Lead the team in ensuring clients are provided with timely, accurate, and efficient processing of all Corporate Action Income events and associated daily entries. The team must ensure the client/ investor is notified and/or paid correctly & timely.
• Deliver on operational effectiveness by managing the performance of the team against goals and providing continuous improvement ideas.
• Manage risks by proactivelyidentifyingpotential issues and mitigating them; strive for satisfactory audit results and train team continuously onaccurateoperational procedures.
• Build ahigh-performanceteam by hiring,trainingand developing them to deliver on overall operational goals; provide ongoing feedback and conduct formal performance reviews on a semi-annual basis; ensure Business Recovery Planning is conducted and tested on a regular basis.
• Provide strong leadership through promotion of values, communicating high-quality standards and developing yourself against the leadership model.Leading by example, you are expected to meet all deliverables as requested by the senior management.
• Management of resources to ensure that all dailytasksare completed to ensure high quality ofBAUdeliverables are met within the deadlines.
